Tech giant Apple has launched its latest version of its most popular tracking device. The company has launched the second-generation AirTag, which is the latest version of its most popular tracking device. After the launch of the first version in 2021, Apple has now launched its latest version in the market. After the latest launch by the company, the sales of the older version have been suspended immediately. The price of the latest version in India is set at ₹3,790 for a single piece and ₹12,900 for a 4-pack. The first sale of the latest version is scheduled to take place by the end of this week.

The new AirTag has the same design and size as its predecessor. It has a compact design, which makes it possible to attach this metal device to your wallet, bag, or keychain. However, Apple has made some significant changes to this device’s internal hardware. The company claims that the new AirTag now offers a 50% greater range.

This means that users will be able to easily track objects placed at a much greater distance than before. This increased range is due to Apple's second-generation Ultra Wideband (UWB) chip, which is found in the iPhone 17, iPhone Air, Apple Watch Ultra 3, and Watch Series 11.

Not only this, the new AirTag also features an upgraded speaker, which can be heard up to twice the distance compared to the previous model. This makes finding lost items even easier. Furthermore, you can now track this AirTag with your Apple Watch. This feature is being seen for the first time. However, this feature will only work on Apple Watch Series 9, Ultra 2, or newer models.

This new AirTag will work by connecting to Apple's Find My app. It will be able to send signals to any nearby Apple device via Bluetooth. This means that when a lost AirTag comes within range of an iPhone or Mac, its location will be updated and sent to the owner. Users will also be able to display a custom message and their contact number in Lost Mode.
