Saif Ali Khan Injured in Knife Attack During Robbery Attempt at Bandra Home
Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was critically injured during an attempted burglary at his Bandra residence in Mumbai in the early hours of Thursday.



Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was critically injured during an attempted burglary at his Bandra residence in Mumbai in the early hours of Thursday. According to reports, the actor sustained six stab wounds, two of which are deep and dangerously close to his spine. The incident occurred at approximately 2:15 a.m. when an intruder broke into Saif’s home, attacked the household staff, and then targeted the actor when he intervened to protect his family.
Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital at 3:30 a.m., where he underwent emergency surgery. Dr. Niraj Uttamani, COO of Lilavati Hospital, confirmed the severity of Saif’s injuries and stated, “One wound is close to the spine. He is being operated on by a specialized team, including neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi.”
The Mumbai Police have launched an extensive investigation into the incident. Three suspects have reportedly been detained and are currently being interrogated. CCTV footage from the area surrounding Saif’s residence is being analyzed for further clues.
Saif’s family, including his wife Kareena Kapoor Khan and their children, Taimur and Jeh, were present at the house during the incident but remain unharmed. A statement released by Saif’s team acknowledged the burglary attempt and requested privacy during this difficult time. “There was an attempted burglary at Mr. Saif Ali Khan’s residence. He is currently in the hospital undergoing surgery. We request the media and fans to be patient. It is a police matter,” the statement read.
