Reliance Industries Limited on Friday announced that the company's net profit rose 2.4 percent in the third quarter of the financial year. This growth has come due to the improvement in the retail business and the improvement in the oil business in spite of the world falling.
According to the company's stock exchange filing, consolidated net profit of Rs 19,407 crore or Rs 14.34 per share in January-March - the fourth quarter of the April 2024 to March 2025 financial year (FY25) - was Rs 18,951 crore or Rs 14 per share in the same period a year ago.
Profit also rose sequentially from Rs 18,540 crore in the October-December quarter. The company's operating revenue grew to Rs 2.6 lakh crore from Rs 2.4 lakh crore recorded in January-March 2024.
