The 46th Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the country's top-1 company Reliance Industries will be held next week on August 28, 2023 (Monday). This meeting will be held through video conferencing at 2 p.m. Company chairman Mukesh Ambani has given information about this meeting.

According to the market capital, Reliance Industries is the most valuable company in the country. The company had also got voting done for some of the proposals before this meeting. Voting was done till 21 August 2023 to choose the proposals.

  On 20 July, Jio Financial Services Limited (JFSL) was demerged from Reliance Industries through a 'pre-open call auction'. The company can also announce the shares of GFS.

Last year, at the 45th Annual General Meeting, the company decided to launch the 5G service and the project related to it. The company also announced partnerships with Meta and Google. Apart from this, the company has also announced the launch of an air-fibre service.

In the first quarter of the current financial year 2023-24 i.e. April-June, the net profit of Reliance Industries was Rs 16,011 crore. The company's net profit fell 11 percent this quarter. The net profit of the company was Rs 17,955 crore in the same period last year. Along with the announcement of the quarterly results, the company has also announced a dividend of Rs 9 per share to the investors.

If we talk about the revenue of the company, then the revenue of the company for this quarter has been Rs 2.07 lakh crore. It was Rs 2.19 lakh crore in the first quarter of last year. There has been an increase in the EBITDA of the company this quarter. The company's EBITDA was Rs 38,093 crore. Apart from this, the company's margin was 18.3 percent.
