OBC reservation discrepancies will be resolved

In Rajasthan, the government has come on the back foot amid the growing agitation over OBC reservation discrepancies. On Sunday, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has given in-principle approval to remove the discrepancies. Congress state president Govind Singh Dotasara said that the youth of the state had been agitating for a long time regarding reservation discrepancies.
After this, on Friday, we talked to the officials on this whole matter and took the matter of the youth to the Chief Minister. After which today in-principle approval has been given to remove the discrepancies. In such a situation, now after the issuance of the written order, OBC candidates will be able to get the benefit of reservation in the OBC quota only.
In fact, former minister Harish Chaudhary sat on a dharna in Jaipur on Friday against his own government over the OBC reservation discrepancy. During this, along with Harish Chaudhary, Independent MLA Baljit Yadav and Jat Mahasabha state president Rajaram Mile warned of a one-to-one fight if the reservation discrepancy was not resolved.
After this, a 5 member delegation led by Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara went to the Chief Minister's Office. Where soon after talks with the officials, it was said that a solution was given to this issue. At the same time, within 48 hours of this entire incident, the Chief Minister accepted the words of the agitators. After which he also thanked Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot by tweeting.
Dr. Ram Singh Samota, a member of OBC Aarakshan Sangharsh Samiti, informed that before April 7, 2018, out of 21% reservation of OBCs in the state, 12.5% reservation was for ex-servicemen. In order to make a merit of ex-servicemen from the reservation category itself, the reservation quota was deducted. After this, the government made a 12.5% reservation quota of ex-servicemen out of the total posts of merit recruitment and removed them from the reserved category quota. Due to this, the basic category of OBC males was not getting a quota in government jobs in government recruitment. In such a situation, with the implementation of this decision of the government, thousands of youth of Rajasthan will get employment.
