Pixel Watch 3: Pixel Watch launched in India with 36 hours of battery life, buds also launched in the market

Google has launched four new Pixel phones at its Made by Google event including Google Pixel 9, Pixel 9 Pro, Pixel 9 Pro XL, and Pixel 9 Pro Fold. Apart from this, Google has also introduced the Pixel Watch 3 with long battery life and two displays. Google has also launched the Pixel Buds Pro 2 in the Indian market.

While the 41mm Pixel Watch 3 with Wi-Fi is priced starting at Rs 39,900, its version with a larger 45mm display has a starting price of Rs 43,900. The watches will be available in Hazel, Obsidian, and Porcelain colors for both models—41mm and 45mm—with Pink to be reserved only for the small model. At the same time, the Pixel Buds Pro 2 will cost Rs 22,900, while this TWS headset shall come in Aloe, Charcoal, Hot Pink, and Porcelain colours. The Pixel Watch 3 and Pixel Buds Pro 2 will go on sale in India from August 22.

The Pixel Watch 3 comes in two sizes for the displays: 41mm and 45mm. Both variants feature an Actua display from the company; the previous model had an AMOLED screen, according to Google. The Pixel Watch 3 supports peak brightness of up to 2,000 nits, which is double compared to last year's model. It has fewer bezels than before.

It allows complex run routines and displays data—cadence, stride length, and vertical oscillation. The Pixel Watch 3 also adds support for two new features: Readiness and Cardio Load Tracking, enabling zeroing in on recovery. Battery life will last up to 24 hours on a Pixel Watch 3 with an always-on display mode. Google says it can go up to 36 hours in battery saver mode.

Now, the new Pixel Buds Pro 2 are going to be the first TWS headsets from Google that come with an inbuilt Tensor A1 chip. Per the company, the processor is going to be 90 times faster during audio processing and is supposed to provide enhanced ANC compared with the first-generation Pixel Buds Pro model. The technology of Silent Seal 2.0 provided by Google in it will eliminate noise even in a crowd.

Pixel Buds Pro 2 has 11mm dynamic drivers. It has an updated algorithm to improve the Clear Calling feature which reduces external noise during phone calls. It also supports audio switching between Pixel devices, including Pixel Watch.

It has a Conversation Detection feature that pauses media playback and activates Transparency mode when the user is talking, while reactivating ANC and resuming playback when the conversation ends. The TWS headset also supports Google's Find My Device network, allowing them to be seen on the map.
