Oppo Pad 5 Launched: 12.1-Inch 144Hz Display, Up to 16GB RAM, 67W Fast Charging

The Oppo Pad 5 was launched in China on Thursday, featuring a MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset. This new Android tablet comes in four color options and offers up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It has a 12.1-inch LCD display supporting a refresh rate of up to 144Hz and is powered by a 10,420mAh battery that supports 67W charging. The tablet was unveiled alongside the Oppo Find X9 series smartphones.

Pricing starts at CNY 2,599 (approximately Rs. 32,000) for the 8GB + 128GB variant. The 8GB + 256GB, 12GB + 256GB, and 16GB + 512GB models are priced at CNY 2,799 (around Rs. 34,000), CNY 3,099 (about Rs. 38,000), and CNY 3,599 (roughly Rs. 44,000), respectively.

The Oppo Pad 5 is available in Galaxy Silver, Space Gray, Galaxy Silver Soft Light Edition, and Lucky Purple Soft Light Edition colors on the company's Chinese website.

Running on ColorOS 16 based on Android 16, the device features a 12.1-inch LCD display (2120×3000 pixels) with a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, 304ppi pixel density, and an 88.5% screen-to-body ratio. It supports a peak brightness of 900 nits and a 540Hz touch sampling rate.

The tablet is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, with up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. Its camera setup includes a single 8-megapixel sensor on the back and an identical 8-megapixel sensor on the front for selfies and video calls.

Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and a USB Type-C port. Sensors onboard include an ambient light sensor, accelerometer, color temperature sensor, gyroscope, and Hall sensor.

The Oppo Pad 5's battery capacity is 10,420mAh, supporting 67W fast charging. The device measures approximately 266.93×193.35×5.99mm and weighs around 577 grams.
