North Korea has again fired two ballistic missiles into the East Sea. Condemning this, South Korea's presidential office has accused North Korea of increasing tensions. South Korea's Joint Chiefs of Staff said that both missiles covered a distance of about 500 km. It fell in the Eastern Sea.
At the same time, Japan's Deputy Defense Minister said that the missiles fell outside Japan's Exclusive Economic Zone and there was no damage.
Despite international sanctions, North Korea has conducted a large number of missile tests this year. According to a CNN report, North Korea has conducted missile testing 35 times this year. Only last month, an inter-continental ballistic missile was tested, whose range included the major cities of America. According to Japanese officials, the missile fell just 200 km from Japan.
South Korean and US agencies are probing the incident. South Korea also called a meeting of the National Security Council (NSC). South Korea has said that North Korea's continued provocation and development of nuclear weapons will only harm the North Korean regime.
Earlier on Thursday, North Korea tested a 'high-thrust solid-fuel engine'. According to experts, with the help of this engine, ballistic missiles can be launched quickly. North Korea is working on creating a new strategic weapon. Along with increasing the speed of its nuclear and missile program.
