SpiceJet bus did not arrive to pick up passengers

The bus did not reach for 45 minutes to pick up the passengers who got off the SpiceJet plane from Hyderabad to Delhi. After this, many passengers started walking to the terminal at 12 o'clock with bags in their hands. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has ordered a probe into the matter.
At the same time, SpiceJet said that there was a slight delay in the arrival of the buses, but after some time all the buses had reached the parking way. All passengers were airlifted to the terminal. There were also passengers, who were walking on foot.
SpiceJet's plane reached Delhi airport at 11.24 pm on Saturday, with 186 passengers on board. A bus immediately came and took some passengers to Terminal-3. The rest of the passengers waited for about 45 minutes, but no bus came to pick them up. Some of these passengers got upset and started walking towards the terminal, which was 1.5 km away.
Passengers are not allowed to walk on the runway of any airport, as it may pose a safety hazard. Airline companies, therefore, use buses to take passengers from plane to terminal and terminal to plane.
SpiceJet company said in this matter that despite repeated requests from the staff, some passengers started walking towards the terminal. They must have walked only a few meters when the buses arrived. After this everyone was taken to the terminal.
The DGCA took a big decision after problems surfaced in SpiceJet flights for the last several days. DGCA had ordered to fly only 50% of SpiceJet flights for 8 weeks. Within 18 days, SpiceJet's planes had 8 technical faults, after which the DGCA issued a notice to the company.
Recently, the government, while replying in the Rajya Sabha, said that the DGCA had done spot checking of SpiceJet planes. Minister of State for Civil Aviation VK Singh had told Rajya Sabha that the DGCA conducted 53 spot checks on 48 SpiceJet aircraft between July 9 and July 13 and found no major security breach.
