Dhupguri By-Election Result: Big upset in Bengal's Dhupguri assembly, BJP again increased its lead; TMC behind
Dhupguri By Election Result 2023: TMC candidate Nirmal Chandra Roy from West Bengal Dhupguri Assembly is leading by 2931 votes with 50441 votes. On the other hand, BJP candidate Tapasi Roy got 49479 votes. While CPI(M) candidate Ishwar Chandra Roy got only 5590 votes. Voting is still going on in Dhupguri. By-elections were held on 7 assembly seats in 6 states on 5 September.
On the 5th of the month, by-elections were held on 7 assembly seats in 6 states, in which a direct electoral contest is being seen between India Alliance and NDA. The results of the by-elections are coming out today i.e. on 8th September.
A close contest is being seen between TMC and BJP in Dhupguri Assembly by-election of West Bengal (Dhupguri By Election Result). Now the main contest remains between Trinamool Congress and BJP. Sometimes the BJP candidate and sometimes the Trinamool candidate is getting the lead.
After the seventh round, Trinamool Congress's Nirmal Chandra Roy is ahead of BJP candidate Taapsee Roy by 2931 votes. Whereas Left Front and Congress alliance candidate Ishwar Chandra Rai has lost the contest.
BJP's Tapasi Roy, Trinamool Congress's Nirmal Chandra Choudhary, and CPI(M)'s Ishwar Chandra Roy are in the fray from the Dhupguri assembly.
