Military commanders will discuss ideological matters at the Army Commander Conference today; Defence Minister will speak on April 2

The inaugural army commanders conference this year will take place in a hybrid format. On the first day, which is March 28, the programme will take place virtually, and on April 1-2, it will take place physically. On April 2, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh will speak to senior military leaders.

General Manoj Pandey, the Chief of Staff of the Army (COAS), will chair the conference. During the conference, the overall security situation will be reviewed in addition to brainstorming on ideological issues. In addition, the conference will establish important priorities that will help shape future policy decisions.

The conference will also be addressed by Chief of Defense Staff General Anil Chauhan, Navy Chief Admiral R Hari Kumar and Air Force Chief Air Chief Marshal VR Choudhary. The Defense Secretary and other senior officials of the Defense Ministry will also attend the programme. In the physical program to be held on April 1, the top leadership of the Army will participate in intensive brainstorming sessions.

These sessions will be aimed at enhancing operational effectiveness, highlighting the importance of fostering a culture of innovation and adaptability and investing in training and development programs to ensure preparedness to meet future challenges.
