Kia has announced that it is all set to open an EV production facility in India. Currently, Kia has only one electric car, named Kia EV6, while the company is ready to launch more great electric cars in the coming years. This is the reason why the company wants to keep the EV lineup separate from ICE. Kia's upcoming new EV factory will not only serve the domestic market but will also become a production hub for emerging markets around the world.

Kia is not only building a separate production plant for the EV but will also open an exclusive showroom for it. Where only Kia's electric vehicles will be seen. The announcement was made during the inauguration of 'Kia EV Day'. The EV models, strategically designed for emerging markets, will be produced in India.
