British-born Mac Rutherford creates history

British-born Belgian pilot Mac Rutherford on Wednesday landed his aircraft in the Bulgarian capital, five months after taking off. Mack flew alone around the world at the age of 17. Mack is the youngest pilot to circumnavigate the globe. Actually, Mack was inspired by his sister Zara and made flying a dream.
Mack took off from Sofia, Bulgaria on 23 March 2022 and broke the Guinness World Record set by Travis Ludlow in 2021. He made this record in just 150 days.
Before the journey, Mack had said - flying was his dream. Flying has been a part of Mack and Zara's life. When you walk in the air you see everything so small that you can go wherever you want to go. I am not equating my sister Zara. I got inspired by him. His parents are also talented pilots. Zara was inspired by her parents.
Zara (19) flew around the world in January 2022 and became the youngest woman to do so. The speed of the aircraft with which Zara circled the world was 300 KM / H.
