Indians entering America illegally: US police caught 60 thousand in 2022,

In the last 11 years, the number of Indian immigrants in America has increased one and a half times. America has long been the most preferred country for Indians. The situation has become such that people have started adopting the wrong path to reach here.
According to a report, between 2012 and 2022, there has been a 100-fold increase in the number of Indian immigrants entering the US illegally through Mexico.
In 2012, the US Customs and Border Patrol registered 642 cases in which Indian immigrants tried to enter the US illegally through Mexico. Whereas in the year 2022, this number has increased to 63927.
Indians are risking their lives in pursuit of the American Dream. Last year on January 21, just 30 feet before America, the bodies of four people of a Gujarati family were found buried in snow in Canada. The family wanted to enter the US illegally and got caught in a blizzard.
Similarly, in June last year, the US border patrolling team rescued 6 Indians from a sinking boat. A case was registered against them for entering the US illegally.
Indians have crossed the English Channel on a small boat to reach the third number of people entering the UK illegally. Britain's Home Ministry gave this information.
According to a report in 'The Times', Home Office officials told that Indian students are using a loophole in the rules, which is making it easier for them to seek asylum in Britain. Through this, students have to pay very less domestic fees instead of international fees to study here.
The report claimed that in the year 2022, more than 233 Indian migrants had crossed the English Channel illegally. And in 2023, this figure has crossed 250 in just one month. With this, the Indian group has become the largest group to do so after the Afghan and Syrian ones.
