India would have won 13 medals in Paris Olympics 2024 if these 7 athletes had not missed at the last moment

The Olympics 2024 was held in the capital of France, Paris. America stood first with 40 gold and a total of 126 medals, whereas China stood second with 40 gold medals and a total of 91 medals. There were 117 athletes from India sent to the 2024 Olympic Games and, in terms of success, they brought only 6 medals. In many ways, this Olympics is considered to be better because this time India performed. India might have won 6 medals but Indian athletes have attained the fourth position in 7 athletic events and if they have medalled, the medal tally would have reached double digits for the country.

The hopes of more medals coming from the shooting started with Manu Bhaker's first two medals. On Thursday, it was shooter Arjun Babuta who became the first Indian to miss a medal at the Paris Olympics as he finished fourth in the air rifle event. In men's badminton singles, Lakshya Sen; mixed team of archery; and weightlifting final, Mirabai Chanu, sat in fourth place.

India secured 7 medals, including 1 medal in the Olympic Games, and Tokyo won socially. In Rio, the performance was sneaked only by Sakshi Malik-PV Sindhu to win medallions. In the London Olympic Games, India secured 5 medals. So far, in Olympic history, India has secured a total of 41 medals, amongst that there are 10 gold, 10 silver, and 21 bronze medals.
