Nepal Earthquake: Just before midnight on Friday, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.4 was felt in a remote mountainous region of western Nepal. 128 people have died and thousands have been injured. On this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of life and damage to property. He also said that India stands with them in this hour.

Strong earthquake tremors were felt in Nepal late on Friday night, due to which there was a lot of loss of life and property. On this, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed grief over the loss of life and damage to property. Also, he said that India stands with them in this hour and is ready to provide all possible help.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote in a post on his social media account "Our thoughts are with the bereaved families and we wish the injured a speedy recovery."

Just before midnight on Friday, a powerful earthquake of magnitude 6.4 was felt in a remote mountainous region of western Nepal. So far, about 128 people have died and thousands of people have been injured. There are long queues of injured people outside the hospitals and there are screams everywhere. Many houses, schools, and other institutions were destroyed. It is believed that the death toll may increase as rescue operations are going on in many places.

According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center (NEMRC), the earthquake was recorded at 11.47 pm, with its epicenter in Jajarkot district. The tremors of this earthquake were also felt in many areas of North India. The earth also trembled in Delhi-NCR, Patna, Dehradun, etc., due to which people came out of their homes. However, no damage has been reported.
