The annual spring meeting of the IMF and the World Bank is going on in America. India's Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth is also on a visit to America to attend this meeting. Ajay Seth said that during this meeting, the IMF and World Bank praised the G20 conference held under the chairmanship of India. It was said in the meeting that the way consensus was reached on global issues during the G20 conference chaired by India is praiseworthy.

September 9–10 was the date of the G20 conference in India. This conference produced a 37-page consensus manifesto that included consensus decisions on several global economic issues, including the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. At the G20 meeting, which India chaired, recognition was also given to the way sessions on different topics were planned while guaranteeing everyone's involvement. Since there were elections for the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman was unable to attend the G20 spring summit. Ajay Seth, the secretary of economic affairs, and Shaktikanta Das, the chief of the Reserve Bank of India, are among the high-ranking officials joining the Indian delegation.

Seth said that in the annual meeting of the IMF and World Bank, it was also appreciated that amidst the global circumstances, financial stability is maintained in emerging economies including India due to monetary policies and responsible fiscal policies. He said the meeting also discussed how financing should be done to tackle climate change. Now G20 meetings are being held under the chairmanship of Brazil. On April 17-18, a meeting of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors was held. During the meetings, Economic Affairs Secretary Ajay Seth held bilateral meetings with counterparts from the US, UK, Saudi Arabia, Japan, Brazil and South Africa.
