If a Shah Rukh Khan movie doesn't work, it's only the director's fault,"

Even though "Pathaan" achieved history and has earned over 500 crore at the box office worldwide, the two months leading up to the release were extremely stressful for the whole cast and crew. Sidharth Anand, the director of "Pathaan," recently stated at the film's premiere that, "I am currently emotionless. Due to the controversy surrounding the movie, the past two months have been difficult for me."

He said that he is glad that the movie is garnering so much attention and doing so well. The director delivered a clear message to his fellow filmmakers by making a strong remark about working with Shah Rukh Khan. Every director needs to make an SRK movie, he remarked. Working with him came as a blessing to me. I used to always fall asleep soundly as I released each film. However, I realised that directing Shah Rukh Khan is a duty two months before the release of Pathaan. He resembles clay. It says, "Inko joh bologe woh karenge" (He will do whatever you say). He has a lot of faith in the director. Through that, I came to understand that the director alone is to blame if the movie doesn't work.

The director also acknowledged that he probably does deserve to collaborate with Shah Rukh Khan once more and possibly create "Pathaan 2" now that he has partially met expectations with a movie starring the actor.
