Terrorists hurled grenades at workers in the Gadoora area of ​​Pulwama. In this incident, a labourer from Bihar was killed and two were injured. Jammu and Kashmir Police have cordoned off the area. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Mumtaz of Parsa, Bihar. Father-son Mohammad Arif and Mohammad Maqbool of Rampur in Bihar are injured. The condition of both is stable.
The labourers attacked by the terrorists used to work in a tent house in Gadoora village. At the time of the attack, all of them were working making cotton bedding. There have been encounters with terrorists in the valley for the last two months, due to which there were no incidents of target killings. Terrorists have become active once again due to this attack on Thursday night.
Earlier on Wednesday, terrorists opened fire on a police vehicle in the Alochibagh dam area of ​​Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. However, there was no loss of life or property in this attack.
Earlier in April, terrorists had opened fire on two people of Bihar in Lajura in Pulwama district. Both the workers were injured in the attack. Both have been identified as 46-year-old Jokhu Chaudhary and 23-year-old Patleshwar Chaudhary of Siktaur village under Chautarwa police station.
It has been three years since the abrogation of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir on August 5. In such a situation, this attack on non-Kashmiris is linked to that. On the other hand, on Thursday, the IB said in its report that terrorist organizations like Jaish-e-Mohammed and Lashkar-e-Taiba are conspiring to carry out an attack.
The Intelligence Bureau (IB) issued an alert in view of August 15, as well as submitted a 10-page report to the Delhi Police, in which there is a possibility of a terrorist attack on Independence Day.
