Greaves launches electric auto rickshaw, equipped with many great features including 170km range

Greaves Electric has launched its new electric three-wheeler auto rickshaw Eltra City XTRA in India. It has been introduced in India with a lot of wonderful features. It has been equipped with a long-distance driving range. Very recently, it has also logged its name in the India Book of Records by traveling a distance of 324km from Bangalore to Ranipet on a single charge.

Greaves Eltra City XTRA has been imported with the classic measurements of the aged three-wheeled auto, but it has been equipped with numerous developed and safety-oriented features. It includes strengthened side panels to provide increased safety during accident, rear visual screen for confidentiality and safety of the rider, 12-inch radial tubeless tires to provide increased stability, ample ground clearance and a modern look, coupled with 180mm large brake drums.

Greaves Eltra City XTRA has a 6.2-inch PMVA digital cluster, which gives information like real-time data like Distance-to-Empty (DTE), Navigation Assist. It has a driver-friendly dashboard design along with smart options for rider and driver and smart connected features for safety.

Greaves Eltra City XTRA has a 10.75 kWh IP67-rated LFP battery. After the battery is fully charged, it can travel up to a distance of 170km (driver + 3 passengers). The electric motor installed in it generates power of 9.5 kW. It takes 4-5 hours to be fully charged. Its top speed is 60km/h.

Greaves Eltra City XTRA has been launched at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.57 lakh. The company is offering 5 years / 1.2 lakh km warranty on battery and 3 years / 80,000 km vehicle warranty to the customers who buy it. This vehicle has been specially designed keeping in mind fleet and commercial operators.
