Fighter: Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan wrap up filming for Siddharth Anand's upcoming action film
Fighter, an aerial action movie starring Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone, is scheduled to open on January 25 of next year. After realising that the movie's production is complete, fans are excited to see the pair together on screen for the first time.
For the first time, Bollywood actors Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone have wrapped filming Fighter, one of the most anticipated films of 2024. The movie, which Siddharth Anand directed, has been described as the first in-the-air action movie in India. ''And it's a film shoot wrap on #Fighter,'' the movie director announced on his Instagram handle on Wednesday. The movie is scheduled to open in theatres on January 25, 2024, approximately one year after Siddharth's Pathaan premiere.
About the movie Fighter
This aerial action movie is the first that Deepika Padukone and Hrithik Roshan have ever worked on screen, and it's the actor's third project with director Siddharth Anand following Bang Bang and War. Hrithik had earlier shared a brand-new poster on Instagram with the comment, "January 25, 2024—see you at the theatres! #Fighter," whereas Deepika wrote as the caption for the image, "Fasten your seat-belts! The first airborne action movie in India, #FIGHTER, will be released on January 25, 2024.
Although the movie was first formally announced in January 2021, the COVID-19 pandemic caused delays in pre-production. The movie was initially scheduled for release on September 3, 2022, but it had to be delayed owing to pandemic-related production delays. As a result, filming finally started in November 2022. It is presently planned to open in theatres on January 25, 2024, one day ahead of Republic Day, following multiple postponed release dates.
