Flop Goodbye on BO on day one: Opening day collection of 90 lakhs

Amitabh Bachchan, Neena Gupta and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Goodbye did not have a good opening at the box office. The film proved to be laggy on the first day in terms of earnings. Directed by Vikas Bahl, the film earned around 90 lakhs on the first day. Despite having a huge star cast and family drama, the film did not collect as expected.
Apart from Amitabh and Rashmika, Neena Gupta is also in the lead role in this film. Neena is seen opposite Amitabh for the first time in this film. Neena has earlier worked in films and series like Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, Badhaai Ho, and Panchayat. Nina's work in all these films was very much liked by the audience.
Apart from Neena, Rashmika Mandanna has also appeared in the film. Rashmika made her Bollywood debut through this film. After this, she will be seen in the film 'Animal' with Ranbir Kapoor and in the film 'Mission Majnu' with Sidharth Malhotra.
Goodbye is Vikas Bahl's third film after getting a clean chit in the MeToo case. Prior to this, he directed the hit film Super 30 and the web series Sunflower on Zee. His next film is Ganpat in which Tiger Shroff will be seen as a lead actor.
