The whole of North India has been hit by severe heat. The impact is the most in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana. Ganganagar in Rajasthan has seen a high temperature of 47.4 degrees, 47.7 degrees in Bhatinda in Punjab, and 46.2 degrees in Sirsa in Haryana. The weather department warned that there will be no respite from this spell of heat in the next 3 days. The maximum temperature in five districts of Rajasthan has reached more than 45 degrees. At the same time, the maximum temperature level in most of the remaining cities is between 43°C and 45 °C.

A heat wave alert has been issued in 14 districts of Rajasthan today. Among these, Hanumangarh and Ganganagar have a red category alert. Terrible heat waves are scorching the state during the day as well as at night. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature level in western Rajasthan may remain around 48 degrees for the next three days, and during this time, strong heat waves will continue during the day as well as night. At the same time, heatwaves and hot nights are likely to continue for the next 3-4 days in some places in the Jaipur, Bharatpur, and Kota divisions of eastern Rajasthan, and the weather is likely to remain dry. Light rain with thundershowers is likely to start in Kota, Bharatpur division from June 15-16.

Meteorologists say that with the stoppage of monsoon activities, the formation of anti-cyclonic circulation in North India has led to a rise in temperature. Its maximum effect is being seen in western Rajasthan, Punjab, and Haryana.

At the same time, the temperature conditions in the last 24 hours were as follows. Ganganagar, Kota, Chittorgarh, Churu, and Bikaner were the hottest cities. Of these, Sri Ganganagar recorded the highest temperature of 47.4, Chittorgarh 45.4, Bikaner 45.3, Churu 45.5, and Kota 46.3 degrees. Talking about the capital, Jaipur, the maximum temperature here was 44.2 degrees, but Jaipur was at the top in minimum temperature. The minimum temperature here was 31.8 degrees, which is the highest in the state.
