Finance Minister will introduce Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation Bill in the House, approval will be taken on the expenses of the state

The Jammu and Kashmir Appropriation (No. 3) Bill, 2024 aims to authorize the payment and appropriation of certain sums from the Consolidated Fund of the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir for the services of the financial year 2024-25. According to the agenda released by the House, the discussion on the Union Budget 2024-25, presented on July 23, will continue in both Houses of Parliament on Monday. Discussion will also continue on the Jammu and Kashmir Budget 2024-25, which was also presented on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Union Minister of State for Youth Affairs and Sports, Defence Nikhil Khadse will reply in the House on preparations for the Olympic Games. She will brief the House on the "Status of implementation of recommendations contained in the 332nd Report of the Standing Committee on Education, Women, Children, Youth, and Sports on action taken by the Government on the recommendations/observations contained in the 325th Report of the Committee on Demands for Grants (2021-2022) relating to the Department of Sports".
