As per the CA report, following the 2032 Olympic Games, the iconic Gabba will be demolished and cricket will shift to a new 60-thousand-seat stadium in the Victoria Park precinct of Brisbane. Queensland Premier David Crisafulli on Tuesday 25 March released new plans for the Olympic Games infrastructure, with cricket in the spotlight.
Cricket Australia has issued a statement saying that the decision to demolish the iconic Gabba and build a new stadium gives certainty about the venue and scheduling. Also allows them to ensure that Brisbane can effectively host cricket.
