India and Pakistan on Saturday announced a ceasefire. The ceasefire took effect starting at 5.30 pm on Saturday. Despite the ceasefire, there were drones and missiles fired from Pakistan, which were retaliated against by Indian soldiers with a fitting reply.

On a separate note, the military confirmed today that all of its pilots are back home safely after attacking Pakistani air bases and strategic targets. When questioned about a Pakistani statement during a news conference tonight that two Indian planes were shot down, officials would only say it is still a state of war.

During a PC held on Sunday, Air Marshal A.K. Bharti said that we are still in a state of air war, so we would not like to comment on it. It will be beneficial for the enemy. We have achieved our targets. All our pilots have returned home.

Through this operation, India wanted to send a message that there is no security for terrorists targeting India. It was a clear signal for Pakistan that it would have to pay a heavy price for supporting terrorists and attacking Indian soil.

Apart from this, Air Marshal Bharti said that in a three-hour action on the night of 9 and 10 May, the armed forces destroyed 11 bases, including Noor Khan, Rafiqi, Murid, Sukkur, Sialkot, Pasrur, Chunian, Sargodha, Scaru, Bholari, and Jacobabad.
