Adani Group may enter the defense sector, will get support from Canada's Bombardier

The Canadian firm that has heavily invested in the Indian transport sector is eyeing the rapidly growing aviation market of India. For this, it discusses with the Adani group future possibilities in investment, likely to be announced in detail soon.

On Tuesday, Bombardier Company CEO Eric Martel met India's famous industrialist Gautam Adani. Both have said that along with aircraft service in India, they are also exploring possibilities in Indian defence manufacturing as well. India is being seen as the fastest growing aviation market in the world. By the year 2027, India's aviation industry will be the third largest industry in the world.

If we speak about aircraft, now Indian companies have ordered 1500 new aircraft. More 2200 passenger aircraft are to be needed in India by the year 2042. Adani Group is thinking to enter the field of passenger and defense aircraft manufacturing.
