IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that all the equipment used in 5G rollout in India is made in India only. Apart from this, he also told that the draft of DPDP act will be rolled out soon. IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that 80% of the equipment used in the 5G rollout in India is Made in India. He said this during the India Mobile Congress 2023 which started on October 27. Apart from this, he also said that the telecom equipment being made in India will be sent to 72 countries.

  1. Union Minister Vaishnav said that India is also progressing in semiconductor manufacturing and is becoming a big hub. He also said that India is preparing to make some very complex semiconductors and chips.
  2. Apart from this, India is also working on a talent bridge. Let us tell you that 1.20 lakh engineers are designing chips in India.
