Weather Alert: Rain Predicted in 13 Rajasthan Districts, Cyclone Effect to Last Till October 30
The cold wave has intensified in Rajasthan. Temperatures in most cities fell below 30 degrees Celsius. Sirohi was the coldest, with a minimum temperature below 15 degrees Celsius. Cold winds and drizzle brought a chill to several districts, including Jaipur, Udaipur, and Bhilwara.
The effects of the cyclone in the Arabian Sea continue to linger in Rajasthan. Rain in some districts was observed on Wednesday. Later, heavy drizzle in some districts, such as Jaipur, Jodhpur, Ajmer, Kota, and Udaipur, early Thursday morning brought a chill to the atmosphere. An average fall of 8-10 degrees Celsius was observed. A yellow alert has been issued today by the Meteorological Department for rain in 13 districts. The southern and south-eastern parts of the state were cloudy on Wednesday, with light showers at some places. The coldest district during the season was Sirohi, with a high temperature of 19.4 degrees Celsius and a low temperature of 14.7 degrees Celsius. Day temperatures were below 30 degrees Celsius in Jaipur, Udaipur, Kota, Bhilwara, and Ajmer as well. The rains are also damaging crops. Heavy rain in the Duni area of Tonk district submerged mustard crops, causing losses to farmers.
According to weather experts, this cyclonic effect will remain active until October 30. Partly cloudy skies and light drizzle are expected in some cities on October 31, while the weather will become clear and dry across the state from November 1. On October 29, the cold wave intensified in most parts of Rajasthan. Cloudy skies remained throughout the day, and temperatures dropped. The maximum and minimum temperatures over the past 24 hours were as follows: Ajmer recorded a maximum of 24.3 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.4 degrees Celsius, while Bhilwara recorded 24.2 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius. Alwar recorded a maximum of 28.8 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 17.5 degrees Celsius, Jaipur 26.7 degrees Celsius and 18.8 degrees Celsius, Pilani 29.5 degrees Celsius and 16.4 degrees Celsius, Sikar 29 degrees Celsius and 16 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Kota was 23.6 degrees Celsius and 18.6 degrees Celsius, Chittorgarh 24.8 degrees Celsius and 18 degrees Celsius, Udaipur 22.2 degrees Celsius and 18.1 degrees Celsius, Barmer 30.6 degrees Celsius and 20.8 degrees Celsius, while Jaisalmer recorded a maximum of 32.4 degrees Celsius and a minimum of 18.8 degrees Celsius. Jodhpur recorded 28.4 and 20 degrees Celsius, Bikaner 30.8 and 19.8, Churu 30.2 and 18.8, Ganganagar 32.5 and 17.9 degrees Celsius. Nagaur recorded 29.9 and 18.6 degrees Celsius, Dungarpur 25.8 and 20.2 degrees Celsius, Hanumangarh 31.9 and 19.3 degrees Celsius, Jalore 26.8 and 21.4 degrees Celsius, Sirohi 19.4 and 14.7 degrees Celsius, Karauli 27.1 and 19.1 degrees Celsius, Dausa 27.2 and 18.7 degrees Celsius, Pratapgarh 24.5 and 19.8 degrees Celsius, Jhunjhunu 29.1 and 18.4 degrees Celsius, while Pali recorded a maximum temperature of 25.4 and a minimum temperature of 18.6 degrees Celsius.
