Weather Update: The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a big alert for Rajasthan. A western disturbance will be active in the state from tomorrow, due to which strong winds will blow between 2 to 4 June and rain activities will also be recorded.

The weather is going to be changing once again in Rajasthan. The Met Department has forecasted rain and thunderstorms in most regions of the state from June 2 to June 4. The department has said that the western disturbance will be active, and hence powerful storms can blow at a speed of 60 to 70 kilometers per hour after midday.

As a result of these weather conditions, throughout numerous cities of the state, there is likely to be rain and there are likely to be thunderstorms. These weather conditions have also lowered the maximum temperature. Whereas previously, the maximum temperature had been 48 degrees during the month of May, now it has decreased below 40 degrees even in several cities. The Meteorological Department said that there will be no increase in temperature in the state for the next three days.

On Saturday, light rain occurred in many areas of Jaipur division. This has given some relief to the people from the heat. According to the Meteorological Department, the temperature of the state will continue to fall for the next five days and there will be relief from the heat wave situation as well. The maximum temperature will remain below 45 degrees. The maximum temperature of the state in the last 24 hours was as follows. The hottest city of the state was Ganganagar, where the maximum temperature was recorded at 44.2 degrees. Ajmer recorded 38.6, Bhilwara 38.8, Vanasthali 39.6, Alwar 39.5, Jaipur 40.2, Pilani 40.7, Sikar 38.5, Kota 42, Barmer 40.9, Jaisalmer 42.7, Jodhpur 40.2, Churu 43.6, Bikaner 42.5 and Fatehpur recorded 40.4 degrees maximum temperature.
