The Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G were released in China. Both phones are driven by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, and at the rear, the phones are equipped with a 13MP primary sensor along with autofocus, whereas the punch-hole cutout on the front houses a 5MP shooter. The phones are also bundled with a massive 6000mAh battery that can easily complete a day-long task, along with support for different charging speeds. Both devices carry a 6.74-inch display along with a 90Hz refresh rate.

The Vivo Y50s 5G is priced starting at CNY 1,799 (approximately Rs. 23,300) for the base 6GB + 256GB configuration, while the 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 25,800), and the top-end 12GB + 256GB option is priced at CNY 2,299 (approximately Rs. 30,000).

The Vivo Y50e 5G variant comes in just one variant that has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage and is priced at 1,499 Yuan (around Rs. 19,300). Both handsets come in three color variations that include the translated Chinese names - Diamond, Sky Blue, and Platinum. Both handsets can be purchased via the Vivo website.

The Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G feature a 6.74-inch HD+ (1,600×720 pixels) flat LCD screen with a refresh rate of up to 90Hz and a 20:9 aspect ratio. Both smartphones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor. The Vivo Y50e 5G has 6GB of RAM and 128GB of eMMC 5.1 inbuilt storage, while the Vivo Y50s 5G supports up to 256GB of fast UFS 2.2 onboard storage and up to 12GB of RAM. These handsets run on Android 15-based OriginOS 5.

In terms of photography, the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G feature a 13-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and support for video recording up to 1080p. On the front, both phones feature a 5-megapixel selfie camera. Connectivity options include dual-SIM support, 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, multi-system GPS, and a USB Type-C port. Additional features include a 3.5mm headphone jack and an infrared remote control.

Both the Vivo Y50s 5G and Vivo Y50e 5G are powered by a 6,000mAh battery. The Vivo Y50e 5G supports 15W charging, while the Vivo Y50s 5G supports fast 44W charging. Both models have OTG reverse charging support. For security, the smartphones feature a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and support face unlock. They are rated IP64 for dust and water resistance. The handsets measure 167.30×76.95×8.19mm and weigh 204g each.
