Rajasthan Intelligence arrested two ISI spies on Saturday night. Both the spies are local agents in Bhilwara and Pali. At the behests of the officers of the Pakistani intelligence agency, the information of the Indian Army was being sent. One of them used to be friends with the soldiers of the Indian Army in the name of a woman. Then he used to get the information. In lieu of information sent to Pakistan through social media, money has also been transferred to the bank accounts of both spies through UPI.
DG (Intelligence) Umesh Mishra said that the Rajasthan CID Intelligence is monitoring the espionage activities carried out in Rajasthan by the Pakistani intelligence agency. It has been named Operation Sarhad. Under Operation Sarhad, in the year 2022, so far 6 cases have been registered and spies have been caught. On the basis of intelligence inputs, Narayan Lal Gadari (27), resident of Bemali of Bhilwara, has been arrested from Bhilwara and Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat (24), resident of village Surajpura in Biratnagar Jaipur, from Jaitaran Pali.
Accused Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat is a salesman at Anandpur-Kalu liquor shop in Jaitaran Pali. Intelligence was informed about the constant contact with the Pakistan Intelligence Agency through the social media accounts of both. CID Intelligence was continuously monitoring the activities of both spies for a long time. Detectives Narayan Lal and Kuldeep Singh, local agents of ISI, were arrested. Intelligence team is interrogating both the spies.
During interrogation, it has come to the fore that Narayan Lal Gadri, a resident of Bemali Bhilwara, was in contact with Pakistani spy agencies. In the greed of money, Pakistan would issue SIM cards to various mobile companies at the request of the handling officers. Makes social media accounts available for operation from Indian mobile numbers on behalf of Pak Handling Officers. Was sending confidential information related to the army on those mobile numbers.
Kuldeep Singh Shekhawat, a local spy of ISI's Pali, was in contact with the female handling officer of the Pakistani intelligence agency. In the greed of money, on the wish of the lady Pak Handling Officer, she used to befriend the soldiers of the Indian Army by creating an account on social media in the name of a fake woman and posing as fake army personnel. After befriending them, Pak was providing confidential information related to the Indian Army to the lady handling officer.
Confidential information of the Indian Army was being sent at the behest of the handling officers of the Pakistan Intelligence Agency. In lieu of sending information of strategic importance, they were taking payment through UPI in their respective bank accounts. This has been confirmed in the technical examination of mobile phones.
