Teen Prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi Continues to Impress, Scores 93 in Ranji Trophy Clash

Bihar's explosive batsman Vaibhav Suryavanshi has once again won hearts with his impressive batting. Against Meghalaya, in the Plate Group B match of the Ranji Trophy 2025-26 in Patna, he scored a half-century. This is his maiden half-century in the Ranji Trophy. Bihar's vice-captain, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, scored a half-century in 33 balls with the help of 6 fours and 2 sixes in the ongoing season of the Ranji Trophy. However, he lost his wicket after scoring 93 runs in 67 balls, smashing 9 fours and 4 sixes.

14-year-old Vaibhav Suryavanshi missed out on the record for the youngest century in Ranji Trophy history. He was dismissed LBW by Meghalaya spinner Bijon Dey on a personal score of 93. The record for the youngest century in the Ranji Trophy is held by Dhruv Pandove, who scored a century in the 1988-89 season at the age of 15 years and 239 days.

It should be noted that Vaibhav Suryavanshi was in the news during IPL 2025. Playing for the Rajasthan Royals, he scored 252 runs in 7 matches, including a century and a half-century. Earlier this year, Vaibhav Suryavanshi scored a century in 52 balls against the England Under-19 team. In this century, he broke the record for the fastest century in a youth ODI. He then captured everyone's attention with his aggressive 113-run innings off 86 balls against Australia in Brisbane.

Due to his consistent performances, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been included in the 15-member India A squad for the Rising Asia Cup. This is the biggest achievement of his career. The team is captained by Jitesh Sharma and vice-captain Naman Dhir.
