Tim Cook Hints at Partnerships Beyond ChatGPT for Apple Devices

Apple's long-overdue Siri AI launch is finally on track and will be released for users by 2026. This was revealed by Apple CEO Tim Cook in a recent interview. According to him, a new and improved version of Siri will be coming out next year, though he did not confirm a timeline to avoid criticism.
With the iOS 18 update in 2024, Apple was supposed to introduce a new look and functionality for Siri. Fast forward to nearly 2026, and there is no word on the new Siri update that was introduced at the launch of the iPhone 16. However, Cook's public announcement does hint that the company is finally on track, and we will soon learn more about the personalized version of Siri AI.
Apple had signed a deal with OpenAI to use ChatGPT on iPhones and other devices, and Cook was asked whether there could be more such agreements with AI chatbots, especially with OpenAI's competitors.
