Telegram new features: Channel owners will be able to put cover photo

Instant messaging platform Telegram has released a set of features at once on its platform. The most striking of these is the expansion of AI sticker search in a way that users will be able to search for personalized stickers created by the Telegram community. Aside from this, the application has added a set of new features to enable more video sharing and interaction.

Telegram launched an AI-based sticker search in December of 2024, allowing users to search for stickers in natural language. Up to this point, this feature was limited to official sticker packages of Telegram, but it is going to support millions of custom stickers too. The feature is going to be in 29 languages, including English, Hindi, Spanish, and Arabic. The AI model is going to be able to process the input of users and show the most relevant stickers to meet their requirements.

Telegram has made several major changes to make the video experience more interactive and convenient. Now users can share the link by choosing any specific time of the video. When another user opens the link, the video will play from that time.
