OpenAI's big decision: Users who create ChatGPT Images will be in trouble

Now you have to be very careful if you are creating beautiful images like Studio Ghibli with the help of ChatGPT 4o. Soon there is a possibility of a watermark on these wonderful pictures. This simply means that you will be able to create the image, but a watermark will be pasted on it while downloading.

AI researcher @btibor91 has given information about this possible update on X (earlier Twitter). He said that a new line has been seen in the beta version 1.2025.091 2509108 of the ChatGPT Android app "image-gen-watermark-for-free", which indicates that this feature will be applicable only to free users.

One does not need to worry since Plus subscribers can be exempted from this watermark limitation. OpenAI has made no such official statement so far, that is, this plan can be altered in the future.

OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has now shared another interesting piece of information a few months after the roadmap of GPT-5. According to him, before GPT-5, the company is going to launch two new models o3 and o4-mini, and that too in a few weeks. Altman said, "The timeline has changed due to many reasons, but the good thing is that now we will be able to make GPT-5 better than ever."
