Instagram introduced new feature, now 3:4 ratio photos will also be supported

Earlier, they had to be cropped to upload them to Instagram. Now you will be able to upload photos directly without any cutting or quality loss.
Now Instagram has officially started supporting photos with an aspect ratio, i.e. 3:4 ratio. This is the same format that is the default of most smartphone cameras; that is, now users will not need to crop photos before posting them on Instagram.
Till now, Instagram only supported photos of 5:4 and 1:1 (square) ratio, but now, when you upload a 3:4 ratio photo in a single post or carousel, it will appear in the same format as you took it. The announcement was made by Instagram chief Adam Mosseri in a post on Threads.
