Big organizations like Apple and Google are extremely cautious about their customers' safety. Top technology companies organize special bug discovery programs at regular intervals. In these programs, they provide high rewards to whoever discovers bugs in their products. Apple has initiated its new bug discovery program, with a prize of $2 million, or around ₹177 million.

This reward money will be given to individuals who find bugs in Apple software that enable hackers to gain entry into users' devices. These are popularly known as zero-click hacks, enabling hackers to enter a user's device without a link.

Apple says it will also reward those who discover bugs in Lockdown Mode, specifically those that bypass security measures. The company will pay a maximum of 2 million units for this. Additionally, the company offers rewards of up to $1.5 million for bugs discovered in beta software, regressions, and other categories listed on its security site.

Apple says this is the largest reward offered for bug discovery in the industry. "We offer rewards for finding Lockdown Mode bypasses and bugs in previous software under our bonus system," the company says, adding that it may more than double this amount. In the future, the company may pay up to $5 million.
