This victory sparked numerous controversies, and amid all the excitement, the Indian team players will arrive directly in Ahmedabad today. Many of the team members have already started preparing for the next series without rest.
It is worth noting that Team India's next series is against the West Indies. Several West Indies players are also in the UAE, and today their team will play the final match of the T20 series against Nepal. The two-match Test series between India and the West Indies will start on October 2. According to media reports, several players will arrive directly in Ahmedabad today.
Shubman Gill, Jasprit Bumrah, Axar Patel, and Kuldeep Yadav are among the players selected for the Asia Cup Test series. Head coach Gautam Gambhir and the rest of the support staff will also travel directly from Dubai to Ahmedabad. The team was announced for the Test series against the West Indies during the Asia Cup. Rishabh Pant was unable to join the team due to injury, and Ravindra Jadeja was appointed vice-captain in his place.
