Sudhansh Pant Appointed Secretary, Ministry of Social Justice; Rajasthan Awaits New Chief Secretary
Rajasthan News: Rajasthan Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has been appointed Secretary in the Ministry of Social Justice at the Centre. He will assume office on November 30th, following the retirement of Amit Yadav. Pant is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre and has previously served in Delhi.
There is big news about the Rajasthan bureaucracy. State Chief Secretary Sudhansh Pant has been entrusted with a big responsibility in the Central Government. Pant has been suddenly transferred to Delhi and made Secretary in the Union Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment.
Sudhansh Pant is a 1991 batch IAS officer of the Rajasthan cadre. He has served in Delhi on deputation for many years in important positions. Reports said that he will take up the responsibility after the retirement of the current Secretary Amit Yadav, 1991 batch AGMUT cadre. Yadav is scheduled to retire on November 30th.
It is noteworthy that at a meeting of IAS officers in the Secretariat on Monday, Sudhansh Pant hinted at a major reshuffle. He told his subordinates that a major breakthrough was imminent. Subsequently, late at night, the Central Personnel Department issued his transfer orders.
