On Independence Day, PM Modi expressed his views regarding drawing the youth from non-political families into politics. By mentioning a target to push one lakh youth in the first phase, PM Narendra Modi has now politically taken forward the issue, which was not operated in 'mission mode' until now. Still, many political parties in the country have given opportunities to such youth, even now, in whose family no one was ever in politics before. However, experts believe that the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi has expressed his intention to give such youth an entry into politics from the Red Fort is being seen as a big experiment from the political point of view. Whereas, at the same time, the youth of U.P. have also raised the demand for the student union elections in those states where elections are not being held. Student politics leaders believe that here in this nursery of politics, the youth from non-political families move forward; therefore it should be started in those states where elections are not held.

On the coming days, PM Modi has strongly appealed to non-political background families to politics, and in fact, his intention. The maximum influence of this problem of the Prime Minister is going to fall on those states where politically student union elections are not being held. In fact, student union elections are seen as the nursery of politics. Himanshu Tiwari, the former student union president of Yuvraj Dutt College of Kanpur University said, Prime Minister Narendra Modi talked about this over politics through the mission mode of bringing forward of the youth from non-political families. He says that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is saying to bring one lakh youth into politics, then there has to be a process to initiate student union elections in states like Uttar Pradesh. He says the first school of politics is being constituted through student union elections, and things are not happening here now. According to Himanshu, since Prime Minister Narendra Modi himself is taking the initiative, the youth expects that all ways will get opened up for them in politics so that in the future, bigger opportunities will come. He said that soon by meeting the student leaders of those states of the country, including Uttar Pradesh where student union elections are not held, a letter in this regard will be written to the Prime Minister, so that youth with non-political backgrounds may get a better opportunity to move forward in the 'Nursery of Politics'.

"If looked at from the prism of the future, then Prime Minister Narendra Modi's intention to bring in educated youth outside politics is very good," said Narendra Mathur, spokesperson of the Department of Political Science at Delhi University. However, he said it is not that political parties do not give chances to the youth coming from non-political backgrounds. Generally, such MPs and MLAs have been becoming ministers in all parties. However, Mathur says that if the number of youths which Prime Minister Narendra Modi has mentioned from the Red Fort on Independence Day starts in mission mode, then it will definitely be considered a big step in the politics of the country. He said that if prominent reforms are to be done to makeover the face of the country, then with the help of this means in politics, massive reform can be done. Mathur to have a view that Prime Minister Narendra Modi has spoken this from the Red Fort, then by all means, a lot of prevailing has happened by the Bharatiya Janata Party which will be enforced by force in the days to come. Which will also have the capacity to alter a lot in the country's politics.

Meanwhile, it has been quite exhilarating for the All India Gram Pradhan Organization at the announcement to get one lakh youths into politics with a non-political background by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. National secretary of this organization, Neeraj Kashyap, says that in the last few years, the Pradhans elected at the Gram Sabhas of different states of the country are not only becoming educated, but many among them do not have any nonpolitical background. Neeraj Kashyap says that by expressing such an intent, the big hope which the Prime Minister of India has raised is for those youths of the country who wish to come into politics. He says that if such youths enter politics as per the intent of the Prime Minister of the country, then certainly the political scenario will look changed in the coming few years.
