After the recent raids at certain fertilizer units of the Kishangarh region of Rajasthan, false reports have begun circulating on social media and other media about the fertilizers of Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited (IFFCO). Responding to this news, IFFCO has flatly denied such rumors and has categorically asserted its position on the purity of its products.
IFFCO said in an official tweet that from the fertilizer units raided in Kishangarh, neither any of their products were recovered nor any irregularity was found related to their name. The tweet said that after the raid on some fertilizer units in Kishangarh, Rajasthan, misleading propaganda is being done on social media, newspapers, and various media channels about IFFCO's products, which is completely wrong. No fertilizer from IFFCO has been found at the mentioned places.
IFFCO emphasized that their products are valid and certified by the Ministry of Agriculture and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS). The organization also reiterated that its fertilizers are provided to the farmers without any adulteration and of full quality. The company has given this statement at a time when incidents of large consignments of fake and adulterated fertilizers being caught in the state are constantly coming to the fore.
