The Excise Department in Hyderabad has taken action against an ice cream parlor for selling ice cream mixed with whiskey. Along with this, many people involved in the racket have been arrested. This incident came to light when the team raided the Arico Cafe ice cream parlor in the Jubilee Hills area of ​​the city. During the raid, the team seized 11.5 kg of whiskey ice cream and registered a case against the accused.

The parlor was being run by Sharath Chandra Reddy, who was mixing 60 ml whisky in every kg of ice cream and selling it at a higher price. The other accused involved in the racket have been identified as Dayakar Reddy and Shobhan.

They were also advertising their product on Facebook to lure customers. The team also seized unpaid liquor worth Rs 3.85 lakh at RTC Cross Road in Hyderabad on Thursday. Officials said the accused, Gopal Agarwal, had brought the liquor from Chandigarh in a vehicle and was trying to sell it at a higher price.
