Satellite connectivity can be found in this Redmi phone, can be the brand's first handset

Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will be released as a successor to Note 14 Pro+ 5G, and it will have enhanced features. Satellite connectivity will be provided in the new top-range Redmi Note phone, and it will be the first Redmi branded device with this feature. Such a feature is typically found in flagship or high-end phones. Along with this, its camera, display and battery details have also been spoken of in some earlier reports. But the launch schedule of Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is yet to be disclosed.

According to a post by tipster WhyLab on Weibo, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ with model number 25104RADAC has been spotted on China's MIIT website. The listing shows that the smartphone will support Beidou's short message satellite communication system. If this proves to be true, it will be Redmi's first phone to feature this connectivity feature.

In another Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station said that the upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will have 'many high-end' specifications. Apart from this, the phone can also have a popular design.

It is worth noting that according to the recent leak, the Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will have a 1.5K quad-curved display and it can be equipped with Snapdragon 7s series chipset. The phone is expected to get a large 7,000mAh battery and may have a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 50-megapixel primary sensor and a 50-megapixel telephoto shooter.

Talking about Redmi Note 14 Pro + 5G, it gets Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, 6.67-inch 120Hz 1.5K AMOLED display which supports 3,000 nits peak brightness. The phone has got IP68 dust and water resistant rating and has a 6,200mAh battery that supports 90W fast charging. The camera setup includes a 50MP Light Hunter 800 primary sensor, an 8MP ultrawide shooter, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2.5x optical zoom. There is a 20MP selfie camera on the front.
