SA announces team to face AUS, entry of young star of Mumbai Indians, senior players rested

South Africa has announced its team for the T20 International and ODI series against Australia. Young batsman Dewald Brewis, who has performed brilliantly for Mumbai Indians in the IPL, has been called up to the national team for the first time. Along with this, two Donovan Ferreira, Gerald Coetzee, and Matthew Bretzke have also been included in the team for the first time.

South Africa has given a chance to four young players in the team for the T20 and ODI series against Australia. Dewald Brewis and Gerald Coetzee have been included in both the T20 and ODI squads. At the same time, Donovan Ferreira and Matthew Britzke have been called for the T20 International team for the first time. Brewis's performance has been consistently impressive in domestic cricket, due to which he has been successful in making his place in the national team.

South Africa has rested senior players for the T20 series against Australia. Players like Quinton de Kock, Heinrich Klaasen, David Miller, Kagiso Rabada, and Anrich Norkia have been rested for the T20 series. However, all these players will be seen showing their mettle in the five-match ODI series. Keshav Maharaj will not be available for the first T20 due to injury. However, he is expected to be fit for the second and third T20 matches.
