Renault Kardian SUV introduced in the global market, equipped with all black interior

Renault has introduced the Cardian SUV globally. It will be sold in the emerging markets of the world. It has been developed for the South American market and is expected to go on sale in Brazil and later Morocco. There is no official information about when it will arrive in India. The Renault Cardian is based on a new CMF modular platform. It has been developed for the South American market and is expected to go on sale in Brazil and later Morocco.

The Cardian measures 4.12 meters in length and comes with dual-tone exterior. It features a double-layer front grille flanked by LED daytime running lights on either side, with the headlamps housed in separate pods. The rear looks similar to the Kiger sold in India, with C-shaped tail lamp units.

Talking about the features, the all-black interior gets an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a flat-bottom steering wheel and a digital instrument cluster.

Renault has introduced a new 1.0-litre turbo-petrol engine in the Kardian SUV. This unit generates 123 bhp and 220 Nm of peak torque and its engine is mated to a 6-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox.
