Redmi Note 15 5G Launching in India Today: Price, Specs, and Features Revealed

Redmi is going to launch their new 5G smartphone, the RedmiNote155G, today, January 6th, in India. Before the launch event takes place, some specifications for the smartphones have already been shared by the manufacturer, Xiaomi. The smartphones will go on sale at 11:00 AM IST today. It's not just smartphones that are being introduced today; the company has also got the launch event for their revamped Redmi Pad 2 Pro. The company will live-stream their event for the audience.

Talking about the features of the Redmi Note 15 5G, the device will come equipped with a 6.77-inch curved OLED screen that supports a refresh rate of 120Hz. According to Redmi, the phone has the capability to deliver peak brightness of up to 3,200 nits. The display will also support HydroTouch 2.0 and receive TÜV Triple Eye Care certification. For durability, the device will also feature an IP66 rating for dust and water resistance. This means it can easily withstand light rain and splashes.

This Redmi device will feature Qualcomm's Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset. The device is said to offer lag-free performance for up to 48 months, making it a long-term option in the mid-range segment. Furthermore, this device will run HyperOS 2 based on Android 15. The handset will feature a square camera module on the back.

For photography, the smartphone features a 108MP primary rear camera with optical image stabilization. You will be able to record 4K video. The device will also have an additional rear camera sensor and an LED flash. The phone will also pack a 5,520mAh battery with 45W wired fast charging support. According to the company, the phone can last up to 1.6 days on a single charge.

Regarding pricing, the Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to be priced around ₹20,000 in India.
