Western Hot Winds Push Rajasthan Temperatures Near 40°C
Rajasthan Weather: The heat in Rajasthan is rapidly increasing due to the western winds and the anti-cyclone formed in the Arabian Sea. Barmer recorded a maximum temperature of 38.8 degrees Celsius, while several cities, including Jaipur, Ajmer, Churu, and Udaipur, have reached above 35 degrees Celsius.
The hot and dry winds from the west have increased the heat in these regions. The highest temperatures in the state are around 40 degrees Celsius. Yesterday, Barmer was recorded to have a temperature of around 39 degrees Celsius. Jaipur, Ajmer, Churu, and Udaipur have temperatures close to 35 degrees Celsius.
The heat of the sun is making days uncomfortable, but nights are a little cooler as temperatures go down. Many cities in the state are reporting minimum temperatures below 15 degrees Celsius. According to the Jaipur Meteorological Center, temperatures may increase in the coming two to three days. A heat wave warning has been issued in western Rajasthan.
