Rajasthan Rain Alert: The weather in Rajasthan has changed due to the impact of a Western Disturbance. Rain and hail fell in several districts, including Jaipur, causing temperatures to drop. An Orange alert has been issued for 13 districts and a Yellow alert for 13 others. The Meteorological Department has warned that the impact will persist in the northeastern regions for the next two days.

The weather in Rajasthan has suddenly changed due to a Western Disturbance. On Wednesday, an Orange alert was issued for thunderstorms, rain, and hailstorms in 13 districts, with a Yellow alert also declared for 13 districts. Jaipur and nearby areas experienced heavy rain on Wednesday morning, with hail falling in several locations. The rain has lowered temperatures and brought a coolness, offering relief from the increasing heat of recent days. On Tuesday, Nagaur, Sriganganagar, Pali, Hanumangarh, and Churu districts saw light rain, while pea-sized hail fell in Nagaur's Jayal area. The maximum temperature in Sriganganagar dropped by 5.7°C to 24.4°C.
Weather conditions in Jaipur started changing on Tuesday night, with intermittent rain, strong winds, lightning, and thunderstorms continuing until 4 a.m. on Wednesday. Hailstorms were reported in areas like Dadi Ka Phatak and Khirni Phatak. The Meteorological Department forecasts that this system will mainly impact northeastern Rajasthan. Temperatures will slightly decline on February 19, but are expected to rise again as the weather clears after that.
The Meteorological Department has issued an Orange alert today for Jaipur, Sikar, Jhunjhunu, Alwar, Dausa, Tonk, Sawai Madhopur, Karauli, Bundi, Bhilwara, Kota, Chittorgarh, and Ajmer districts, predicting thunderstorms, heavy rain, and hailstorms. A Yellow alert covers Rajsamand, Udaipur, Dungarpur, Banswara, Baran, Jhalawar, Bharatpur, Dholpur, Nagaur, Churu, Bikaner, Ganganagar, and Hanumangarh districts, which are expected to receive light to moderate rain and strong winds.
