Rajasthan Weather Update: Due to the effect of western disturbance in Rajasthan, it has been raining in many cities of the state for the last one week. Due to this, there was a sharp drop in temperature but now the mercury is going to rise again. The temperature may rise by up to 7 degrees in the next 5 days, heat waves will also prevail.

The rains happening in the state over the past one week will decrease now. The weather will become dry in the bulk of the regions in the state for the next 5 days. The temperature will increase too. According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the state may increase by 6 to 7 degrees in the next 4 to 5 days. The maximum effect of heat will be seen in the Bikaner division. Here, the maximum temperature is expected to be around 45 on June 7 and 8, and with this heat wave will prevail again.
Today, there is a possibility of light rain with thundershowers in Jaipur, Ajmer, Kota, and Bharatpur divisions, while on June 7, there is a possibility of light rain in Kota and Udaipur divisions, and the weather will remain dry in the remaining places.
The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of strong storms in 25 cities of the state today. These include Ajmer, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bharatpur, Bhilwara, Bundi, Chittorgarh, Dausa, Dholpur, Dungarpur, Jaipur, Jhalawar, Jhunjhunu, Karauli, Kota, Pratapgarh, Rajsamand, Sawai Madhopur, Sikar, Tonk, Udaipur, Bikaner, Churu, Hanumangarh, Nagaur, and Ganganagar.
